Lovin' New Book Bloggers!

...*sigh*
...it's the week of Valentine's Day
...and I want to spend it with YOU!!!

I want to celebrate all the NEW book bloggers out there!  I started this blog October 15th, 2012
I'm a BABY in this crazy world!
Are YOU a new book blogger?  If you answer "yes" to any
of the questions below...
I'm thinking you qualify :)

Is your book blog less than 1 year old?

Do you have less than 200 followers (GFC, twitter, Goodreads, etc.)?

Are you overwhelmed by in awe of all the established giants out there in the book blog community?

I want to hear from you!  I want to spread some book blog love your way!

Do you have ideas you want to bounce off someone?

Do you want to share stories with others in your newbie position?

Do you need a virtual hug?

Do you have questions you want to ask, but feel uncomfortable putting them out there for the entire book blogging world?

Let's help each other!  Let's succeed TOGETHER!!  Some initial ideas...

  • I would LOVE to create a BLOG ROLL comprised entirely of NEW BOOK BLOGS.  Leave me a comment with a link to your blog button!
  • I would LOVE a twitter list of NEW BOOK BLOGS.
  • Perhaps a Goodreads group of NEW BOOK BLOGS...
  • IDEAS FROM YOU!!!
Comment away and let me know what you think!!  I'm super excited to get to know all of you...and...Happy Valentine's Day from ReadingYA!!!

  1. Hey! I started my blog just last month on January 10! I'm even more of a baby than you haha. I think this is an awesome idea. If I can help spread "blog love" to new bloggers, let me know!

  2. I started in Sept 2012, so I'm still a baby too! ;) I love the idea of getting to know other newbie bloggers. The entire book blogosphere is fabulous and overwhelming at the same time.

I don't have a blog button, or much in the way of design (although that is one of my goals for the year if I can figure out how to do it all), but here is the link .

  4. Whoa. This is one of my favorite blog designs like ever. I stumbled on your blog, and I am so glad I did. I opened my blog in August last year, so I know how it feels to be so new, and sometimes lost.

Thanks for being so welcoming! I am adding your button on my blog. http://ohchrys.blogspot.com/

    1. By the way, I am looking for your Facebook page, but I cannot find it. You should really consider making one. Would help out in the longer run when it comes to requesting books from publishers, and general social networking. :) Best wishes.

    2. Christine!!! Thank you so much for the nice comments regarding my blog design!! It took me months to figure out what I wanted...and then Icey Designs was incredible putting it all together for me. I don't have a Facebook page (personal decision) and won't be creating one...but I do understand the importance of social networking. I appreciate you stopping by and adding me to your blog roll...that's SOOOOOO exciting!!!!! (I look forward to adding you to my roll, too!)

  5. Hey there! I agree - this blog design is so great! I love all the colors and the coordination and the prettiness :D I started my blog in June/July 2012 so definitely still on the newer side. I love the idea of having a group of us together to bounce ideas around and check in :) I'm in!
